It looks like TNT has been busy lately. Most of this news has been out for a couple of weeks but I just found out now and thought other people would be interested. Tony Harnell and John Macaluso are involved in a new project called Starbreaker. Their self-titled cd was released March 21 (although it still says to pre-order) and there's a link from the Official TNT Website to order a signed copy of the cd (the first 100 ordered will be signed)! So of course I ordered it;). I also found on the same page a cd by Marcie Free (aka Mark Free)which should be interesting since the Mark Free solo cd was great, but that's outside of the TNT realm.
In other TNT news, their will be a TNT convention on May 21, 2005 in Trondheim, Norway (to sign up if you're lucky enough to be in the area, go to the TNT Convention Party site). On top of that, they'll be playing live at FireFest 2005 with a bunch of other great melodic rock/AOR bands (Soul Sirkus, Firehouse, Pink Cream 69, House of Shakira, etc.). That festival will be May 7, 2005 at the Bradford Town and Country Club, Bradford, U.K.
O.K., someone tell me why the U.K. gets all the cool melodic rock festivals? We'd like some here in the U.S. too!:) |
